Well, take care of your body every day, too – and this orange and cranberry smoothie will help you do it! They are great for you all year round. And when fresh cranberries are not available use frozen, or sub cranberry juice.

Festive Orange Cranberry Smoothie – Not Just for the Holidays!
(Serves 2-3)
Ingredients
½ cup of unsweetened COCONUT WATER
½ - ¾ cup of cold WATER
fresh SPINACH, 1-3 small handfuls
1 frozen BANANA
¼ cup of raw CASHEWS
½ cup of fresh/frozen CRANBERRIES
- OR 1 cup CRANBERRY JUICE, if you have no berries2 TB HEMP HEARTS
ZEST of ½ an ORANGE (make sure you thoroughly clean the skin first)
1 ORANGE, peeled, broken into small pieces (use the orange you zested)
4-5 medjool DATES, depending on sweetness preference
Sprinkle of CINNAMON (optional)
Tips: Drink immediately.
If you like your smoothies to be colder, you could:
Chill it in the fridge before drinking;
or SWAP OUT the dates for frozen PINEAPPLE chunks to taste. It will add a tropical twist to the mix.
Store any leftover smoothie in glass jars in the fridge for up to 2 days. When you’re ready to drink, simply shake it up!
