We often miss opportunities because we think it’ll be too difficult, like “going green” for an overall healthier and wiser lifestyle.
Usually, when I feel that I don’t have time to exercise or to prepare a good healthy meal, in fact I could make the time, if I chose to do so! I guess you’re probably the same.
Anyway, to remove all excuses for enjoying a healthy meal, here’s a simple, nutritious smoothie that takes only 30 seconds to prepare. It’ll give you amazing energy for your morning activities.
Simple to make, requires very little prep, and tastes really really good!

This smoothie takes about 30 seconds. It will give you energy all morning.
It’s full of things that are good for you: protein-packed spinach, fresh pineapple, grapes, and banana.
You also get to feel cool when everyone asks you what you’re drinking.
Another perk: it tastes really really good!
Recipe: Super Green Smoothie – Quick, Easy & Delicious
Ingredients:
1/2 c. Water
1 c. green Grapes
1/2 c. fresh Pineapple chunks
1/2 Banana
2 c. fresh Spinach, packed
1/2 c. Ice
If avoiding a sugar spike is important to you, add 1 tbsp ground Flaxseeds or Chia seeds or 1/2 cup soft tofu to round it out and provide longer lasting energy.
I grind my seeds in a little coffee mill I have before adding them to my smoothies. – I've never had coffee flavored smoothies (unless that was exactly what I wanted!) If you are concerned, unplug the coffee mill, take a slightly dampened paper towel and wipe carefully around the inside to remove any coffee (or other) grounds. Dry it with a fresh paper towel. I then gather all my other ingredients so I leave it to dry for a few minutes before using it.
